I traveled abroad for the first time when I studied in Moscow in the fall of 2000. In December of that year, two friends and I took the Trans-Siberian Railroad to Vladivostok. In the summer of 2001, I did atmospheric research at the Ocean University of Qingdao, China. After I graduated college, I traveled two months in Europe.
