Letters from Palestine

I lived and worked in Ramallah, Palestine, from June 2004 to December 2005. I worked as a journalist and foreign press coordinator for a Palestinian presidential candidate. I also traveled extensively in Palestine and around the Middle East. Times were pretty crazy, but life was good, and I came away more inspired than horrified -- which is saying a lot.

A year and a half after leaving Palestine and moving to DC, I came back to Palestine for a two-week vacation -- and wondered why I'd ever left. In October of 2007, I sublet my apartment in DC and moved back. I started writing a book about the times I spent in Palestine and the lessons I learned called Fast Times in Palestine. It will be published in April 2011.
